Spotlight on WALPA

We are adding a new web site to our blogroll on the right hand side of this page.  This is a quick way to access information on various groups that provide a forum for information to the lake community.  The Washington Lakes Protective Association is an affiliate of the national North American Lake Management Society.  WALPA has a diverse membership of those interested in lakes and aquatic plants within state and local government, contractors that provide services to lakes and lake associations throughout Washington State.

WALPA hosts a annual conference that is well worth attending if you live on a lake, are involved in the management of your lake association or are otherwise involved in this field.  If you haven’t already, click on their link in the Blogroll and give their site a good look.  Be sure to read the section on their annual meeting and check back for the program and registration information when it gets closer to time to go.

Also remember that you can use our blog as your portal to these sites and save yourself some space on your favorite sites bar.
