Case Study - Crosswater Golf Club, Sunriver, Oregon

The Problem
Crosswater Golf Club is part of the Sunriver Community in Central Oregon. This community is a desintation resort boasting three championship golf course and a four seasons recreational community. Crosswater is the most recent addition to this project. The golf course is carefully blended through the wetlands at the confluence of the Little Deschutz and Deschutz Rivers south of Bend. Crosswater has a number of very unique holes designed around the wetland and lakes. Two large lake system on the property began to experience problems with excessive aquatic weed and algae growth soon after construction.

The Solution
Total Lake Management. Crosswater turned to Aquatechnex biologists to solve the problems in these lakes. Our team developed a regular inspection schedule during the season. On each visit, our biologists assess conditions in the lakes and perform corrective maintenance using a variety of treatment technologies. We also installed a bottom diffuser aeration system to keep the lakes well oxygenated and improve water quality. The lakes are a beautiful component of the stunning landscape at Crosswater.
